Here's a pretty good recent discussion on Ink factors. In message 9 DaveAtIFG states that "testing indicates that INK completely ignores keyword metas and alt tags."

Sorry folks, but I got the proof this is a wrong statement.

In a test page (actually online) I saw two meta keywords been placed there and thoses keywords are not even use in the text of that page.
Thoses keywords show up in MSN, Hotbot/Inktomi and in thoses metasearch engines : Vivisimo, Mamma, Debriefing and Copernic.

But in my test, only the first two show up. Sticky mail me for the keywords.
