msg:3731080 | 3:36 am on Aug 26, 2008 (gmt 0) | I am wondering whether traffic from ABCSearch, Splut, and MIVA is legit or if it is bot generated like most other smaller search engines. I have been in touch with all of their sales rep and they seem very eager for us to make a deposit - a little too eager perhaps. Can anyone tell me about their recent experiences with these sites? Would you recommend any of them? I'd appreciate any help.

Been through this cr*p and managed to escape without too much damage.. Stick to the top three...G, Y and MSN. ( Rest is all bot generated traffic.. IMO and experience) [edited by: Green_Grass at 6:50 am (utc) on Sep. 10, 2008]

These abcsearch who somehow are related to miva, are sending a ton of crap traffic via one of their other sites clicksheield. net which also has sub id's for their affiliates. It sure looks like one big loss leader for everyone who pays for these clicks. There is at least 3 levels of people getting paid for each click. The subid of clickshield, clickshield itself and of course miva. Amazing how this traffic is higher than google and yahoo conbined....
