Ask Click and Credit Card Fraud

 3:57 pm on Feb 4, 2007 (gmt 0)

I funded an Ask PPC account with $300. I got one click for 25 cents from abcsearch.com. That's the only click I needed to receive from them. I asked them to refund my unused money, but instead of doing that they decided to charge the card a second time for another $300. Now I'm going to have to go to the bank and have them remove the charges. Thank God their bank will charge them $25 for each chargeback. Ask.com is not only a click scam, but also a credit card scam. Whatever you do, do not deal with them in any fashion.

in fairness to ask I would like to say that they have agreed to refund my money..

It was awhile back, but they did refund our money as well. I think traffic from their main site would be okay, though, because you get placed on their partner sites, we fould the overall quality to be low.

We get such good coverage on Ask from adwords that I don't worry about going directly through them.
