I assume you were logged in. Pinterest mus have moved to a logged in requirement, and I missed it. I cannot seem to brows Pinterest at all without logging in.

actually interestingly, this was using a fresh browser on a new windows install, i had visited facebook previously but not pinterest, i 'must' have previously logged in to pinterest with facebook crudentials (in the past i mean), so i did seem to be logged in, despite it being my first visit. [i really don't like that behaviour or associating different accounts with one another in this way]
naturally both the facebook and pinterest accounts are 'barebones' as you can't look at either website without being logged in.
