We’re excited to announce that we’ll be testing an update to Pinterest.com with a small group of people soon.Pinterest To Test New Look [blog.pinterest.com]
We’ll preview the update with a small group of people over the coming weeks. Once we work out the kinks, we’ll share it more broadly. In the meantime, if you’re interested in being one of the first to see the new look, send us your information.

Wonder what they are going to change? Maybe introducing some ad space for advertisers? That would be great to be able to buy traffic from Pinterest like FB and Google.

"Pins are bigger and we’ve added more information related to pins ..."

They will show bigger versions of the stolen images and I guess maybe more stolen text. The biggest scraper ever (after Google images search that is, since about a week) will now show bigger versions of the scraped content.

They are also going to display more thumbnails of other infringing images in addition to the larger display of the central, infringing image.

I suppose Pinterest wants to make itself more "sticky" to visitors, and decrease the likelihood that visitors will end up on the website of the original content providers.

Even after copied images and content, how come PInt has such a low Alexa Rank - 35 and PR - 8 ?

And it's quite popular too. It must have some x-Factor ;) .

I need to find what's that :)
