/var/lib/php/session folder growing fast !
php sessions being created and not destroyed

Hi,

I have recently upgraded my server and am having a problem with my php sessions not being removed from their folder /var/lib/php/session.

My php.ini session settings are the following:

Can anyone explain why this might be? I thought garbage collector took care of all of this for me.

What's the O/S and PHP version? Also have you tried increasing the probability from 1% to say 10%?
