In the past I had setup a website but due to DDOS attack, people wasted a lot of bandwith on my server. Now I want to build a ftp server that is "bandwith proof", so user is required to register to access my files. This way I can ban user who try to wast my bandwith. But files on my server is a bit large, should I use ftp instead? If yes, how do people register? What software can do this kind of function?

But if you think it was a DDOS attack, and someone does it again they will still be able to waste your bandwidth cause DDOS isnt specific about your download file only
