I'm trying to learn zend framework. but can't seem to get it installed.

I can figure out how to configure php on a mac fr the include path
I also can't figure out how to change the rewrite rule. I am new with macs and don't know my way around them or how the servers work on them. I also know nothing about servers

Sarah I am too thinking about getting a mac
Prior to the purchase I asked a few questions
If you run OSX it has Apache built in by default
If you run Leopard it has Apache 2.2.9 and PHP5.2.6 by default
So you should be able to make it working

Now perhaps the best thing (which I will probably do)
is to install for about $50 MAMP pro, which is doing pretty much what XAMP or WANP does on a Wins machine. (Check first if you can install the framework)

Did you try posting here in the Mac forum?
Further did you search Zend if it is possible to install their framework on a Mac
(I do not think of any reason for not letting you doing it)
But as I mentioned for now that's the sum of my Mac knowledge :), let us know.
