how can I find items in an xml file that have specific keywords?

Hey all,

I run a site that has a very vertical subject. I would like to add some news from rss files. But since my site has such a very small subject, there are no feeds that deal only with that subject. In fact, I expect I'll have to search through several feeds to find relevant items.
I have to integrate this in a website that uses php, but I don't know too much php (only the very basics). Does anyone in here know how I could do this? Or does anyone know of a script that does this (I have been searching for one)?

I know its probably very complicated, but if someone could just point me in the right direction, I would be very happy ;)

Thank you

Its simpler then you think it is.

a) Get Snoopy which is a PHP RSS Reader.
b) Use snoopy to retrieve the RSS feed, each entry becomes an item in an array.
c) Search entry for your keywords. -- If they exists, display it, if not, keep cycling through array.
d) Repeat for as many feeds as you need.
