I've installed PHP on a Vista machine and there are no MySQL libraries. Anyone know how to get them?

If you have installed php 5 you must enable mysql in php.ini by uncommenting the lines to load up the library.

Read the installation notes: [php.net...]

I have enabled them, however there are no MySQL libraries. Can I use the libraries from older versions?

A file named libmysql.dll is included in the Windows PHP distribution and in order for PHP to talk to MySQL this file needs to be available to the Windows systems PATH.

Follow the link provided by eelixduppy and read up on the Windows Installation, it is all right there. If you are using a distro package you may have to read their specific documentation.
