I need a Gateway Script for a Members Area that I need to protect, the site will only be accessable to people who are an active subscriber to my ezine. Are there any open source scripts that will do this, I've looked at Amember & that is not what I need.

Have you thought about just basic authentication? It's available in both IIS and Apache.

Take a look at LockedArea or DirectoryPass [locked-area.com...] (both scripts are free from the same company)
