| Is there any easy way to manage folders on the droid desktop?

I have a LOT of apps on my samung galaxy s3. I need to keep them organized.
Putting apps in folders is OK, but it is tedious on the phone.
Does anyone know of something that:
1. will easily let me assign folders to apps and apps to folders on the phone WITHOUT using a third party app that does not use the native droid folders. IOW, I want to better manage the folders on the droid, not use a new app to create a folder structure
-or, better yet ----
2. an app that would let me manage my droid desktop folders from my desktop PC. I looked at a couple of remote control apps but they all seem to require rooting the phone. That is something I just don't want to mess with now.
I'd appreciate any thoughts.
