Kindle 2 Has A Built In Browser - I Didn't Know That!

I just received my Kindle 2 and while fooling around with it discovered that under the Experimental section there is a working browser.

Yes, it is pretty basic mobile-style but it still is a browser. What is most intriquing is that this browser works off the 3G Whispernet service which is FREE to anyone who has purchased the Kindle.

In playing with it I was able to access webmail and most sites that I tried. What I found useful was to change the settings from Basic to Advance mode and, if necessary, enable javascript.

I don't know but this thing seems to have all the makings of a major new toy, in mean, device!
