Thanks for the heads up.
I had restarted Opera a few times today and it never notified me of this update. Is there a schedule for that?
Here are the changelogs:
Windows: [ ...] opera.com *nix: [ ...] opera.com Leosghost msg:4016222 10:49 am on Oct 30, 2009 (gmt 0)
Issue of 100% CPU usage fixed by preventing and avoiding the filling up of message loop
this was what was really annoying ....glad they fixed it ..shame they squashed all discussion/ mention of it on their boards ..(they could've said they knew it was an issue and that they were working on it ..instead they cut out all references to the problem and tried to pretend it didn't exist :( ...
got the update notification last night ..

Hm, is it just me or is everybody taken to [ ...] after the update? "Congratulations on downloading Opera 9.6" isn't really appropriate... opera.com Leosghost msg:4016541 9:57 pm on Oct 30, 2009 (gmt 0)
maybe just you ..I went to "congrats 10" on two machines ..one doze ..the other linux
