msg:4160570 | 11:08 am on Jun 28, 2010 (gmt 0) | I am using Google analytics for my wordpress website. However, I get completely different stats for awStats in my CPanle and that in google analytics. msg:4161804 | 2:03 am on Jun 30, 2010 (gmt 0) | Different stats packages often (even always) give different numbers. This is because they use different methods to get their numbers. In your two cases: 1. Google Analytics can only count a visitor who has JavaScript working 2. AWStats uses the server logs and so can count all your traffic - including automated traffic that does not follow JavaScript. So the two different visitor stats will almost never agree. note - I apologize for editing your post to remove the website name, but knowing the website name does not help us answer your question.
