My web page flickers in IE and Firefox
Not very good with CSS

Msg#: 4126340 posted 7:59 pm on May 3, 2010 (gmt 0)

I got this free template from some site and made some changes to here for my new site. It was free and they said I could modify anything I wanted to. I am not the greatest but can get along okay with HTML. The template has CSS and I am new to it. Anyway, I can't get rid of page flicker when going from one page to another on my site.

Site is at [snip]. It is not public yet, I am trying to set it up. If anyone cares to look at the flicker, I appreciate it. Not all the links are working as I want to fix it before doing more pages. Only links working (that flicker) are: Home, Real Estate, Community and Parking Calendar.

It's probably not so annoying to a visitor, but I would still like it not to flicker. thanks for any help.

I use notepad or CuteHTML (which is like notepad)to edit the pages usually.

I'm new to this forum. My web site URL was removed from my post. So how can someone get help if no one can see the problem? Thanks.

We don't allow posting of personal URL's, thats why your thread was edited.

What sort of flicker are you getting. Is it caused by a background image, or the entire page?
