I am a freelance web designer (mostly on graphics, but also provide advice on ecommerce), just now a client who runs an online store consulted me on starting a search engine platform that searches consumer goods to boost the coverage of his sites (of coz his competitors too). Basically I have no knowledge of programming, but I know there are websites doing similar jobs, I am quite interested in knowing how to build up a site like that too, can anyone shed some light on that? I might have picked this up wrong, but are you looking to include a comparison type engine into the site, or are you looking to place the products sold on the clients site onto a search platform? Mack.
