I am attempting to build a site for my business; though I'm beginning to think I might be better off "buying it" done...
Anyway, what I'd like to do at this point is have some pics scrolling across the top of the home page. How is the best way to do this. BTW, I'm working with Frontpage 03..should I switch to a different program?

thanks!

IMHO opinion you should switch to a professional designer. You may have been born with natural design skills but this is unlikely. Your website is your business doorway. Done properly it could produce a significant part of your enquiries. Not done properly it could chase people away. Who wants to get their HVAC work done by a company that can only afford a DIY website? If someone comes across your website their perception of your business will be based on what they see there.

A small brochure type website could cost you as little as 300 ($500 USD). Why bust a gut trying to do it yourself?

(BTW Frontpage was discontinued by Microsoft three years ago.)

Hey BeeDeeDubbleU,
I agree with you mostly, if not 100%! I should probably pay someone to do this, however, I enjoy this, I.T./computer tasks, but I don't enjoy working with a program that's not user friendly. I did download dreamweaver & flash but there's a significant learning curve. Thanks for your input -- more than likely I'll end up paying someone to do this for me. Do you know if some of the members here would be willing to do this for me, or would that be against webmasterworld powers that be? Also, if I hire someone, should it be a local so I can sit down 1 on 1 w/them?
Thanks again

Hi hvacservices-if you want to consider hiring from outside your country, i may be able to help. It is frustrating trying to buid a website,if you have not done so before, but it is surely a great personal achievement once you've done it yourself. Anyways i am up for grabs if you need. BTW - i am located in the philippines.
