"Broken links" how much crucial for seo. Do google consider them or not ?

Think about your users, it makes sense to fix the broken links.

Regarding it from a search engine point of view, it shows them that the site is not being well maintained and this may well effect your rankings.

Broken links create a bad experience for users, so they will probably hurt your SEO too.

We know that Google looks for "signals of quality", and having too many broken links would send exactly the wrong message about the quality of your site.

Invest some time once in a while to find and fix broken links on your sites. We THINK it will please Google better, and we KNOW it will please your users better.

SEO or not, broken link hurts user's experience of your visitor. Forget of returning visitors if you have too many broken links in your website
