Hey guys I'm new to the forum and to web development. I have an ecommerce site that is hosted by prostores which doesn't allow PHP or mySQL. I would like to now implement a blog. The main purpose of my blog is for SEO purposes, fresh content, keywords, etc, so for me a subdirectory is the ideal implementation. I understand that I can host it on a different server as a subdomain by redirecting blog.mydomain.com to that server however does anybody have any ideas as to how I can host a blog on a different server as a subdirectory? Moving my site from prostores is not an option.

bilalseo, does Wordpress need PHP/MySQL?

I don't think there's any relatively hassle free way of having 'stuff residing on a different server' to be viewed on your current server... unless you want to use a <frame> or <iframe>

to be honest, moving domain sounds like the easier option. Do you own it?

yeah I own it but moving my domain would be like making a new website. Long story as to why I'm with prostores. So that's not really an option. Hosting the blog ON wordpress isn't really an option either because then I don't reap the SEO benefits.
