Hi, I have a question as far as how a page is analyzed by spiders. I have a 3 column layout. left navigation / center main content / right used for misc. I read that leaving a blank cell above my navigation table (mine is on the left) is a good idea so the spiders go to the center of the page where my main content is first. can anyone elaborate on this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Google for "Source Ordered Content" (or better yet, "Source Ordered Content" site:webmasterworld.com, as there's many excellent threads here about precisely that.) The idea is to get your main content to the top, and if you're using tables (read: "cell") this is one way to do that.
