can I have an abbreviated email name?

Hello everyone:

I am truly a newbie, so I apologize in advance if I'm asking a really stupid question.

I just bought a domain name OnlineEducationService.com (not real name) through Google. I want to set up an email but don't want to use name@onlineeducationservice.com, instead I would like to use name@oes.com. Is there a way to do this or do I need to purchase another domain name "oes.com"?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld eahn. :) The answer is that yes, you would need to purchase the second shorter domain name, or any other variant that you wanted. Your hosting company should be able to set it up so that you can use both domains.
