So many variables that are dependent on your sector.
The main thing is that getting visitors is not the objective. What you should be concerned with is getting customers. The site is a channel for delivering customers not an end in itself.

piatkow was right . We only got about 20 hits per day , and got some good orders every week . 0 dollars is spent on advertising , we just write some useful articles on our site . Good Luck to you .

You must first optimize your page for the keywords appropriate to your content. Then submit link on various related directories,communities keeping in mind your niche market. Try to actively participate in blogs, forums and article submission.

At the risk of stating the obvious, depending on your needs/goals, you can always simply buy them. It's all a question of return. If each visitor costs you $0.95 but on average you make $1.00/visitor, you could turn that into a viable business with enough visitors. On the other hand, if you make $0.95/visitor and you spend $1.00 each to get them to your site...
