I don't know whether this is the appropriate thread to discuss this issue. Just recently my blog was removed by google, as my blog content was the violation of their TOS (In their eyes). Now I wanna start my own blog, for that I am searching blogging tools and web hosting service. Also I wish to know whether the very template in blogger.com can be configured on the server that I am gonna have. Send me private message, as it not allowed to mention any tool name over here.

We can mention free, open-source tools. A good thing, since in many software categories, they are the best tools available, anyway. The most popular is Wordpress. You can almost certainly find hundreds of hosts that offer Wordpress pre-installed, and/or with an easy push-button install from a control panel.

I second Wordpress, easy config and easily styled as well. Very rare that I have any problems with mine.

Another vote for wordpress...although personally I do use blogger, as I prefer to blog outside of my own websites. Maybe with a new account and under consideration of TOS?

Not only is WordPress an excellent choice for setting up you own blog, but, as you gain some facility with it, it can serve as a very flexible platform for website development in general. There is a huge array of tools (plugins) that can aid in such things as traffic generation, SEO and internet marketing.
