hello

i posted another topic today, so this is my second topic here

i use joomla, tried nuke types and lite types

please let me know wht cms can give me this and please give me a link

1- website like cnn or like si.com sport website

2- template system that can be easy to edit and to make the page cool

3- php based or maybe asp ...

to be honest joomla s cool, but i need soemthing to let me chose my website look, and wht to load when viewing the page, each page will be different

i dont want to spend more than 200$ so a free or cheap "inexpensive" will be cool

thanks

You're looking for open source my friend. Low cost, lots of mods, lots of support, lots of different brands.

A wordpress/phpBB combo perhaps?

You WILL need to do a lot of coding however to bring them up to speed with current internet protocol (SEO, W3C etc).

You can make a Joomla site look anyway that you want. Look at the site showcase to get ideas of the different way that people configure it.

You can assign unique templates to different categories or menu items.

You can toggle modules to only display on certain sections.

Once you get familiar with it, you can do pretty much whatever you want with it.
