I have the codes for certain functionalities already..

I already have a website that is being developed. My programmer has already one most of the programming for the website including unique functionalities that makes the website unique. However, I wish to change the design to something a bit more visually appealing. I am planning on hiring a designer to recreate the website.

How simple or hard will it be for my developer to transfer the coding he has done to the new design? Will it require him to start all over?

Also, I am planning on changing my developer. So, will there be any potential issues there as well?

Any replies are appreciated :)

well, Peter, no one can say for sure. we don't really know how complicated your unique site is. usually advanced programmers are making the website pretty easy to modify. so any advanced designer should be able to work with your website.
it all depends on how it's all programmed there.
