We have noticed a spike in recent days of clicks on our flash advertisements. We have tracked these high amount of raw clicks coming from MSNbot. Is this happening to someone else, and how can we go about stopping this? It's really skewing our stats.

Here is a sample of the logs of what we tracked:

Apart from the obvious (dump flash, it's potentially dangerous and blocked by serious browsers), detect whether the user is likely to be a real person; if not, do not serve the advert. Fairly easy to do, especially if you're concerned only with major bots. See the search engine spiders forum at [webmasterworld.com...] for more info.
