Bing’s Collaboration with Apple
Bing to be used in Siri searches starting this fall

 2:18 am on Jun 11, 2013 (gmt 0)

Starting this fall with iOS 7, Bing will power Siri's new integrated web search. When users ask Siri a question either the specific answer or web search links will now be delivered automatically so users can find information even faster.

Well, you can't fault bing's effort.

That's going to put a LOT of searches on Bing.

Add this to their major integrations with social networks and maybe they'll take away some of the traffic from Google.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if people don't force Apple to make the Siri search engine used optional because many prefer Google.

Let's see how this plays out :)

Good news. Finally Bing becomes a major player, love it.

I agree with the fact that Bing becomes a major player. This should give them a ton of traffic provided Siri will really do well on iOS 7.

On the other hand, we are really seeing how Apple is slowly taking Google out of the picture.

Less Google? Great idea!

With the mess that is Penguin 2.0, this can't come fast enough for me.

90% Google search engine market share in the UK is crippling small businesses here.
