Yea, Bing I believe started testing this February 9th or earlier. I see it randomly myself.

I really like what they did with the advanced search UI folding right out under the bar there and when you search for pages that used to be super cluttered, the UI is now super clean.

googs claim to fame was the whole simplicity angle, haha

While I like the layout I do hate seeing images first on Bing. They take your image but make it hard for a visitor to visit your site out of their iframe. In fact if you use a frame buster they specifically advise visitors that visiting your site is not recommended.
Not loving the image abuse, other than that however I do like a clean layout.

Love the new layout. And growing quite fond of bing. It is now the default search engine on all the systems i manage.
One thing though. Crawling speed and depth MUST be improved, they stil seem to be missing very large chunks of the web. Other then that, hats off to the bing team!

+1 J_RaD and +1 Sgt_Kickaxe.
I switched to Bing a while back as my default search engine though I still haven't been swayed over completely and constantly check Google because the layout is easier on the eyes.
I wish I would have known about this change. Though I still don't see the new layout myself, this is a *huge* step forward for Bing and might win me over completely or mostly.

The layout is refreshingly uncluttered... the kind of layout that Google once had, the kind of layout which was one of the reasons for Google's early appeal.
I wish Bing had a much larger index. I don't know whether the Bing algo would scale up if the index increased, but I hope they move in that direction.
