AdCenter Ads Within Bing Search Results rustybrick msg:4343535 11:52 am on Jul 25, 2011 (gmt 0) The RKG blog noticed Bing testing adCenter ads within the Bing search results. I was a bit shocked by this, but apparently it is a legit test. Should Bing put ads inline with organic ads? references: [ ...] rimmkaufman.com [ ...] searchengineland.com

IMO, if you want to put ads inline with the organic results, the ads should be clearly identifiable as such by their appearance: either because they are display ads, or they have a format and styling that does not approximate the organic results appearance. engine msg:4343583 2:24 pm on Jul 25, 2011 (gmt 0)
I agree with bw100, otherwise, I don't see a problem with it from a search pov. From an advertisers pov, it's great. mhansen msg:4343586 2:38 pm on Jul 25, 2011 (gmt 0)
I have no problem at all with ads within the content of a search result page, as long as they are clearly marked. The "Clearly Marked" issue spans ALL search engines, not just Bing. bw100 msg:4343739 9:35 pm on Jul 25, 2011 (gmt 0)
From an advertisers pov, it's great. Absolutely! If you could kill all the other ads on the page, you'd have The SERP version of a print island position ad.
