Search engine ranking can take time. How long have you had this issue? Hours? days? weeks? months? Also it would be useful to know what country you are in. Take up of Bing seems to vary by location and, depending on where you are, this might be a serious problem or it might not be worth the effort to fix.

bing/yahoo is weird for me too. I rank number one in google, but 6 in bing LOL. the top results in bing are terrible. one site which is above mine is a parked domain LOL.

piatkow, it has been the same since the beginning of BING. I never managed to have any trafic coming from this silly search engine.

Check that you have quality links coming in. Link quality seemed to make a difference. Then, wait... It took almost 5 months for a new site to show up in Bing, despite it having been visited by the crawler pretty soon after being established.

As I said, my site is already indexed by Bing but it's ranked way too badly (after 100th place and further when it shows at the 15th place for the same keyword on Google).

I was indicating about quality links. You might want to read this paper I linked to the other day. [webmasterworld.com...]

| Bing accounts for only 4% of my search engine referrals (UK). On the other had I have never had problems getting onto page 1 for any arguement that Google puts in the top 10. I haven't checked arguements that come further down the list. Depending on your topic and/or title you may have issues with safe search. Perfectly harmless words may have character strings embedded in them that appear "adult". (I had this issue with a place name and google image search a long time ago)

Hello: I have the same issues with Bing. Some of my websites rank fairly high in google, but i am in the 20's to 30's in Bing. Any recommendations or tips on how to improve ranking on Bing.com? Thank you!

In my experience it takes years to rank good in Bing for starter sites.

I rank extremely well in Bing for all my main keywords. The only downside is that their index seems rather shallow, and they seem to struggle to rank sub pages of my websites or even index the pages at all. With Google falling to pieces hopefully Bing can step up and increase their index size.

>>In my experience it takes years to rank good in Bing for starter sites. that's an absurd statement as Bing has only been around since june 1st 2009 - which is less than 2 years

Bing reporting is off from what actually happens. In my case it says I only have 40 pages indexed in webmaster tools yet I can find 300 by just looking at my own traffic stats, and at least 80 are on page one with a good ctr. Are you going by your own logs or the Bing webmaster tools? I actually LIKE using Bing to search (it's growing on me) because I prefer only seeing ONE entry per domain. I'm starting to get frustrated with Google showing 4,5,6 or more from one site in the top 10 because when they get it wrong the entire page stinks full of useless junk.
