Today Sprint Wireless announced their new Samsung Intrepid phone with a new voice user interface from Tellme. This new interface will allow you to search the Web with Bing by speaking your search query.

The search part sounds very similar to Google's search by voice apps that are available for various handsets.

Sprint Wireless

This could be the first of many network deals for bing. Bing's mobile search offering is miles ahead of Google and Yahoo!. With more and more people using their phones to do a lot more than simply making calls. Mobile browsing is becoming more and more mainstream, using handheld devices. This is a smart move by MS.

I've tried the Google search by voice app on the HTC, wow, thats the most reliable voice recognition software I've ever come across. Wish I had this app on the PC.

Yea I have Google voice search on my Android phone and it works flawless my Scottish accent poses no issues for it.

Has anyone experienced the Bing application. Would be good to see how it compared to Google.
