MSN Live loves my site, Google doesn't. Any reason why? Boulder90 msg:3850561 12:01 pm on Feb 16, 2009 (gmt 0) I'm just curious as to why most of my sites pages are in the first three pages of MSN Live for relevant keywords, but not in Google.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad MSN was smart enough to figure out that my unique content blows away the competition ;), but I'm curious as to why the discrepancy.

Google's spam logic blows Live away. That's why you can hear the crickets on this forum. No serious webmaster even cares to optimize for Live - it's in such bad shape.
Microsoft also realizes Live is a dead end project, that's why they're so eager to make a deal with Yahoo.

Seems I get a good chunk of search engine traffic and conversions from Live, so I'm thankful it's around anyway.
They seemed to have pushed away the plagiarized sites I compete with, and pushed my unique content right to the top, which is pretty cool. Whereas with Google, I'm still lagging behind guys who plagiarize and have meager copy/pasted content simply because they had their site up in 1996.

I really want Live Search to do better, but it's like supporting a football team that doesn't know how to compete.
