i concur and think this is indeed an update, one of our big domains that always ranked in the top 3 for a major phrase for the past year got knocked back to the second page. at the very least it's some sort of algo tweak.

MSN seems to have flushed out all but the major health sites, Wikipedia, About, and pharmacy sites in my areas with regard to the big money keywords. They definitely seem to be making a run for the holiday PPC cash like Google. Looks like a minor version of the Google Florida update in the areas I traffic.

calumniate, IMHO you are doing well in MSN for your big keyword because it brings no traffic :)

MS remains the single worst when it comes to recognizing the same site under multiple domain names. I am seeing 3-4 versions of the same in the top ten on several different searches. widget.com, widget.net, etc. WBF

Send in a bug report on it, that's what it is. Meantime, I'm seeing no changes now from earlier in the month, not for my sites. [edited by: Marcia at 7:42 am (utc) on Nov. 28, 2006]

touche shurik, well, in google it's a 'big keyword!' but i don't think we've ever had a single referral from msn on that keyword, despite being numero uno.. this cheerleader stuff is not good news..

The number of blogspots continue to decrease after November 24. Today is the cleanest I have seen the serps on my key phrases. There still is work to be done; some of the blogspots have simply been suppressed to page 3+. But at least the top 10-20 seem to be much cleaner.
