I can understand the importance of tracking at the keyword level and I am happy to supply you with the steps on how to do this. As it can be a little confusing you can also contact Support and they can do a step by step walk through on how to enable the keyword destination URLs.
- Sign into Microsoft adCenter - Click on the Campaign - Click on the adGroup - Click the ‘Edit keywords’ - Export out the keywords - Save the Excel sheet to the desktop for easy retrieval - Sign out of Microsoft adCenter - Place all of the individual URLs in the ‘Param1’ column - Save the document with a new name (EX: keyword destination URL) - Sign back into Microsoft adCenter - Click on the Campaign - Click on the adGroup - Click the ‘Edit keywords’ - Choose the ‘Import Keywords’ - Select the file, and Open - You should then be moved to the Pricing page - Review the base bids - Click Save - Click on the Ads tab - Click on the ‘Edit an ad’ - Scroll down to your ad, and Click on the ad Title - The ad will then populate in the fields - Change the Destination URL, to the ‘Keyword Destination URL’ - Click Save
After doing the re-import, please note that the ad and all keywords will go back through the Automated Editorial Process. This process can take up to 24 hours to complete, normally it is completed within 6 hours.
