adcenter can take a day it seems to really get actice - and reporting can be slow. If you still have issues give them a call - they offer free keyword analysis and optimization. In fact they will probably call you if the performance is low.

A day at least... don't be surprised to see it take 3 or 4 days. Try raising your bids a bit higher than what you're comfortable with for the first few days just to give it a kick.
