spc90210 i hope that it will be ok ... cause else i will close my account and ask for VISA refund. i trust on what adCenter told me ... if it is now so than this will prove to all the people that they are just playing with the words without understading their meaning... I JUST HOPE IT WILL BE OK

[adcenterblog.spaces.live.com...] Advertisers may see high CPC and spend amounts Some of our adCenter advertisers are seeing high cost-per-click (CPC) and spend amounts in their accounts. I will update this post with more information as soon as I have it, but I wanted to let you know that this issue is now resolved and those of you who were overcharged, we're working on a plan to credit your accounts for over-charges as soon as possible. |

I was charged $258+ for a click that I'd bid 30 cents on! Glad to hear, though, that MS was actively fixing this before I even knew about it.

I have the same problem. The amount reflected on the Bill is different from the actual cost that I have incured. I have an order that cost me 17.34 for 4 clicks w/c has an average cost of 4.34 but my actual bid is only 2.30, adcenter must fix this glitch and straighten this thing out. I am not gonna pay for costs that I did not get. Also they have to fix the keyword approval. From what I have observed is that they keywords get approved the min it is submitted but it gets rejected after it gets a few clicks. whats up with that! There keyword approval sucks compared to google and ysm. Get your act together adcenter or you may lose advertisers!

I beg to disagree this is not yet ok, although in the summary of campaigns in the spend column it may look as if the amount has been adjusted o the correct amount but I suggest you guys look at the billing tab and click on the pending to see detailed info on your clicks and costs you will find that it is still overcharged. I know this coz I just checked mine a few min. ago. from what I know adcenter will bill the amount reflected on the billing section and not the amount seen on the summary of campaigns. Adcenter still sucks, they have been operating for some time now and they can't get things straight!

Anyone know if we will all get credits automatically or do we have to call and request one to make sure it gets done? Has anyone seen a refund yet? It's so ridiculous that they do this and then make us wait 1, 2, 4 who knows how many weeks to get a refund for money they basically stole from us. For some of us we are talking about many 1000s of dollars. Just not right.

I have actually received a refund for this already. It was automatic and happend sometime on Sunday. Support also just phoned me to say everything was sorted and back to normal, but those who still have the paused campaign problem should be fixed asap. Didn't affect me so didn't ask anything more about that. I have to say that adcenter seemed to do a good job at fixing what seemed to me like a massive problem, and fixed it quite quickly. It does beg the question though why did it happen in the first place. QA ms? lol.

Are you guys getting actual credit card refunds or are they simply reducing future charges by the amount you were overcharged?

Well in my billing tab it said an invoice had been created for the credit/refund amount, against my credit card. So I am guessing an actual refund. I haven't checked my CC though to confirm.

Great job by AdCenter handling this so quickly. I think I may have even been overly-reimbursed - nice that they went above and beyond, assuming that's the case.

Well, we were overcharged by about $4k, and then we were credited by about $8k, and then they took back the over-credit, and supposedly TODAY they have it all right. At least, that's what the guy who called me said. I'm going to have to have my customer call his credit card company to be sure. What a mess.

I had 1400-ish bucks in incorrect clicks. They credited my CC the $1400, even though only $400 had been actually charged to my card. So, then they charged my card $1000 to even it out. They did give me a $200 ad credit for the trouble--which was cool. THEN, they charged my card another $2000 in mystery charges that even they haven't figured out yet. Pretty frustrating, I'd advise everybody to go over your invoices carefully.
