Continuing from... [webmasterworld.com...] Looks like Pfui wrapped it all up.

While Pfui's comment is indeed helpful, this question isn't anywhere near wrapped up. There may be a connection to MSIE caching as well. However, this UA is used for too many situations. Looking for more input.

| Mozilla/4.0 (compatible;) |
| I was seeing mainly bots using /4.0 but today had cause to -temporarily- add an exception to my blocking rule for a new visitor from Hungary. As I know there is a recent legitimate link with the country and my site I'm guessing their ISP, externet.hu, uses this UA on their cache system: pool-04406.externet.hu Full AU:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.2) Very similar to that used by sTalksTalk in the middle of last year too:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; InfoPath.2)
