Avant browser 2012 alpha 2(With Firefox 7.0 beta 4 Engine)
new release

Msg#: 4359777 posted 5:43 am on Sep 8, 2011 (gmt 0)

After 3 years, Orca browser comes back a live again as a part of Avant browser.
Is there anyone here using this browser?
Here is their news:

Avant Browser 2012 alpha 2 has been released. Now it works with both IE (6,7,8,9) and Firefox 7.0, the latest Gecko Engine. (Chrome/Webkit engine is coming...)

In this version, as many users expected Orca Browser was merged to Avant Browser. If you want to continue the experience of the old Orca Browser, please switch to Mozilla Firefox engine from the menu Tools->Default Rendering Mode. For temporarily rendering the current page with Mozilla Firefox engine, you can finish switching via the drop down list next to the Go button of the Address Bar.

Once Firefox is working properly with Avant Browser, we will add Webkit/Chrome.

What do you mean by Avant as a browser? It is different from Chrome or Firefox? Or it just a search engine like google and yahoo?
