The Windows 9 rumors have begun...

Alleged Windows 9, Windows 10, Windows RT and Windows Phone details emerge (rumor)

The information comes from a source called WZOR, who has been behind countless Microsoft information leaks in the past. He claims that Windows 9 will be similar to what we have currently, while Windows 10 will be something new. More so, he claims that Microsoft is planning to join both Windows RT and Windows Phone together.

Cloud OS. That thought scares me. Consumers are getting more knowledgeable about data. The cloud can be a scary place. A full blown cloud OS might be taking things to far.

Ms need to take a step back. Concentrate on what they did well. Produce an OS that meets consumer needs. Trying to catch up with competing systems (surface) is just plain silly. It's a pc, it does what it does. Mouse and keyboard work just fine until voice becomes a proven technology.

It's more than a PC when you throw all these mobile devices into the mix. The lines can get blurry. Where do they draw the line? Certainly with Windows 8 they've tried to move toward an omni-capable OS that can work on anything, and that's where most of the confusion/complaints/resistance has come from.
