I watched the launch and I liked what it offered. Only thing I didn't like was the delay for the actual phones.Windows Phone 8 Smartphone O/S Preview [bbc.co.uk] Microsoft has unveiled the next version of its smartphone operating system.

First Surface [webmasterworld.com] and now Windows Phone...They need to take note of how Apple does it. They hype the crowd with an announcement, and then have the product available immediately...or very soon thereafter.

I completely agree, they have to shape up with how they communicate. It's like they can't change from how it was done 20 years ago. Steve Jobs nailed it.

Yeah, i wish we had immediate availability from MS, they may learn that sooner or later, but come on, lets not kid ourselves, Apple announced iOS 6 which isn't due for a LONG time..
I like what HTC announced, basically making parallel market of their android sets for WP8, which is a good idea. Can't wait to see what Nokia shows off eventually and most importantly, i want the WP8 SDK!
