I just caught the tail end of a tv advert for Microsoft Internet explorer 8. If this is retaliation at the browser choice screen, is it not a little bit early?

Perhaps they simply want to draw peoples attention to IE so it rings a bell when they see the icon in the choice screen.

Mack.

That would make sense with the new browser choice screen [webmasterworld.com] in Europe sucking away their market share. They must be feeling the dropping popularity already.

Could be that, also could be a real effort by MS to get folks to upgrade their older IE versions. We'll have to see how it all plays out.

What we need is someone who has seen the whole CM to tell us what the message was. ;)
