BTW Ciao.fr accessed directly from France now has top nav ..to windows .live msn, ..bing.com etc all over it .. ciao ( everywhere ) is still ostensibly owned by German company ciao.gmbh ..but one wonders if MSN has bought in or is merely partnering .. anyone seeing what shopping comparator is being used elsewhere world wide ? are they linked ..or have they all become MSN parteners / properties [edited by: Leosghost at 12:21 pm (utc) on June 1, 2009]

ciao is fully owned by microsoft, they bought it for something >480 Million! [techcrunch.com...] Now regarding BING: it is really fast. Now they have something that actually responds to queries! I have not tested the results really. Still looks like a normal search engine to me and did not help to make any decisions today. Yet, if they pour $$$ into marketing and hardwire it into W7, it will be an alternative traffic source ! I think: so far no hard errors to find in the approach... short name, real fast loading, entertaining approach... lets wait and see! P!

Google's breathing a big sign of releif right now. Interesting UI, poor search results.

Well I tried a couple of search phrases and both my sites came out on top. When I clicked the links I went straight to the relevant pages. With that limited test I see no difference to Google.

BillyS, are you on the US search results (picked US location)? I get excellent results there. Comparing it side by side with Google and it's almost exact.

Elsewhere on WebmasterWorld some are saying it is Google! I can't see how myself... To me so far it looks like Google.
