I'm sorry, but this EU Commission must have better things to do. They've really got a thing for MS don't they? I guess my question is why does this commission think its duty is to add its voice on MS's adoption of a free, open, international standard? I'm sure that there are extenuating conditions involved that I'm not privy to, but this just sounds gratuitous.

I think MS needs to make sure that ANY software that goes to ANY place governed by the EU costs about 10 times more. >>exchange their documents with the software product of their choice, Umm, software of THEIR choice. Says it all. No one is forcing anyone to buy MS Office, MS Word, etc.
