| windows updates stop connectivity

I am aware that this appears to be an ongoing story. But I have had this problem for years. I resolve it by restoring to a point prior to windows update. Means I am always undoing the windows updates, and recently had a serious problem with the directory. Do the windows programmers know about this? (happened again today)

What version of Windows are you having the problem with? Could you describe the problem in more detail? What happens exactly?
Are you saying that you haven't applied a Windows update in years without reverting to a previous restore point?
