Not that happy with the fact as a Ultimate owner (3 times over) there is no special pricing for that but £49 for the home edition is a pretty spectacular price... Do you think there are actually limited numbers for this or it's just a marketing ploy?

Oh, it's a marketing ploy, for sure. However, I have to agree, it's a good idea to do it this way.

| It looks like the pre-order special is no longer available at Amazon.co.uk. I had it in my shopping cart yesterday, and this morning I received the message '...no longer available...' when I tried to checkout... note to self 'stop procrastinating' lol

"I had it in my shopping cart yesterday, and this morning I received the message '...no longer available...' when I tried to checkout..." Just went to Amazon UK, offer for Win7 Home is now £75? Funny to see in the "What Do Customers Ultimately Buy After Viewing This Item?" underneath, 34% of people buying Vista. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of that stat.

Yes, they are showing again, but the prices have gone up considerably...

Wow, so it wasn't a gimmick! Glad I bought enough for all my home PC's!
