can anyone confirm this

Ever since this morning's Windows Update (which nagged me to reboot all morning - the ultimate annoyance), I haven't been able to open a new tab in IE. Symptom: the browser freezes, goes unresponsive, then crashes. This continues to happen after several reboots, and the behaviour is consistent.

I know there may be a lot of factors that could have caused this problem, but it seems too much of a coincidence that the problem began immediately after installing the update.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm running WinXP
The update included 4 entries called: "Security Update for Windows XP (KB94****)"

If this happens to you, go to Tools->Internet Options->Programs->Manage Add Ons and disable all the Windows Live plugins.

That fixed the problem.
