Microsoft has a public beta of SP1 available for download [microsoft.com]. Again, this is a only a release candidate version, but they're getting very close.

Keep in mind:
You must uninstall any previous versions of Windows Vista SP1 before installing Windows Vista SP1 RC Refresh
