hi,

i have just installed win2000 on MS virtual pc. it seems logical that it would also need its own firewall installed, can anyone confirm?

many thanks

It depends upon how you plan to use the virtual PC. I see no need for anti-virus or firewall on any of my virtual PCs simply because every time I restart them I go back to the initial clean install point. If nothing is saved in the virtual PC image then there's no need for a AV or firewalls at all.
