It started when I was in the Garden, switched on the computer laptop, but there where no batteries left so, it just almost got to fully upload, I saw the desktop for a few secounds, then the computer went down be cause of the battery, later that day I switched on the computer again, but then it said continue in normal or secure and all the other options you know, then I see Windows XP logo for some time then it reboots and it all starts again.

first i got this blue screen - driver_irql_not_less_or_equal but now I get unmountable_boot_volume

any help here

have the solution, if some comes in the same trouble:

You can boot to the XP cd and when you see the Welcome to setup press the letter R
You will get a dos prompt
Then type "chkdsk /p" without the quotes and hit enter

the part after the top instruction, is maybe not nessesary

When that is done type "fixboot" and hit enter
"Y" and enter at the prompt
Then type "exit" and hit enter
The system will now reboot into Windows

driver_irql_not_less_or_equal

I see this error often with faulty memory dimms.
